ACCA Partners with KEEN Utility Boots

August 8, 2018

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announces that it has partnered with KEEN, Inc. (KEEN), a leading footwear company, to offer ACCA members the opportunity to purchase KEEN Utility safety footwear under a member benefit program, affording hard-working contractors a new opportunity to remain safe and comfortable on the job.

The performance driven, safety footwear line includes features like slip resistant outsoles, asymmetrical safety toes, KEEN.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane technology, and a unique hiker fit enhancing comfort and stability with every step. KEEN Utility work boots are designed to enable contractors and technicians to work effectively and safely every day, so they can enjoy life outside of the job.

“ACCA is excited to partner with KEEN to offer our members outstanding KEEN Utility work footwear,” said Todd Washam, ACCA director of industry and external relations. “We are concerned about the safety and comfort of contractors and technicians as they work with heavy equipment in the unforgiving conditions of wet crawl spaces and stifling attics, or out in the elements serving equipment on commercial rooftops or someone’s backyard. Through this new member benefit program, contractors and techs can ensure their feet are protected and comfortable.”

“KEEN Utility is steadfast in its dedication to the skilled trades and recognizes their importance to daily life. ACCA members are among some of the hardest working trades men and women in their industry and face unpredictable conditions both indoors and daily,” said Chris Heffernan, General Manager of KEEN Utility. “We understand the value ACCA creates for its members and this new partnership underscores our belief that hard work deserves innovative footwear designed to answer the need for safety and comfort on the job and beyond.”
