Larry Robert “Rob” Minnick Jr. has been the President and CEO of Minnick’s Inc, located in Laurel, MD, since 2007. He has 35 years of experience in the heating and air conditioning field, particularly with Mechanical Design & Building Performance for owners.

Since Rob enjoys a challenge and loves the opportunity to meet people, he decided to concentrate on the family business and earned official certifications from the State of Maryland, Air Conditioning Contractors of America, Building Performance Institute, Residential Energy Service Network, and United States Green Building Council.

In addition to his heating and air conditioning work, Rob is a board member for the Association of Air Conditioning Professionals (AACP), formally (ACCA) Washington, DC Chapter, ACCA National Building Performance Council, ACCA Standard Revision Advisory Committee, ACCA 12 QH Advisory Committee, ACCA QA Steering Committee, ACCA Joint Futures Committee, ACCA/BPI QEE Standard Development Committee, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Board of Directors, ACHR News Advisory Board, ACI National Program Committee, HVACRedu.net Program Oversight Committee, and Maryland Youth Apprenticeship Advisory Committee.

Rob lives in Burtonsville, MD with his wife Dawn. When Rob is not working, he likes to spend time with his family, play drums, travel and play golf.
