In his application, Adams described his motivation for board service as a natural progression of his existing ACCA involvement, noting that he has "demonstrated during my tenure as a Gold Member and active committee member that I am committed to ACCA's mission." He identified workforce development initiatives, consumer choice on fuel type, federal installation standards, and refrigerant policy as the pressing industry issues he would prioritize as a board member.
The Nominating Committee reviewed Adams' application, interviewed Adams onsite at ACCA 2026, and approved his candidacy for presentation to the full board.
