Discussion Draft of 2025-26 ACCA Policy Priorities

As new leadership takes office in Washington and many battles shift to the states, we need your voice now more than ever! Our bi-annual policy priority-setting process is your chance to shape ACCA’s advocacy efforts and ensure the issues that matter most to you and your business take center stage.

ACCA’s Government Relations Committee, Board, and staff have drafted this document seeking your feedback on six potential policy priorities for 2025 and beyond. We invite all members to provide comments on the relative priority of these issues and potential solutions, as well as your own ideas.

The possible solutions outlined in this document are far broader than what ACCA could realistically pursue, if that were even desirable. The goal of this document is to illustrate a range of possible solutions and seek member help refining and narrowing them into a final policy agenda.

We welcome you to provide your feedback by Sunday, March 16. Visit acca.org/advocacy/legislative-priority-feedback to submit a video message or comment on the Contractor Forum posts linked there. Your advance feedback will lay the foundation for discussion and survey questions at the Contractor Town Hall where we hope you’ll join us in person! It’s scheduled for March 27 at ACCA 2025 in Austin, TX.
