Deborah Sutherland started with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) in the spring of 2003 during a time of transition in the Accounting and Finance department. She was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2004 and to Manager of Accounting in 2013.
Deborah works closely with the Vice President and Controller with preparation of monthly financial statements, and the Audit and Budget process each year. Deborah also works closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance with pension plan contributions, employee benefits and other plan filings. Some of Deborah’s primary duties include but are not limited to Accounts Payable, Payroll, Receivables, member system management, credit card processing and direct deposit management.
Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in accounting.
