These terms and conditions govern your registration for and participation in any ACCA Event.
Safety & Security
ACCA reserves the right to deny entry or ask any participant to leave if their behavior causes concern to event staff or security. Participants denied entry or asked to leave are not eligible for a refund.
Release of Photography
Release of Photography: By participating in ACCA events, you are giving ACCA permission to use photographs or videos of yourself, your company's exhibit, and/or representatives taken at the event. ACCA intends to use such photographs and videos in connection with ACCA media promotions, website, or social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and agree that your attendance and participation in the Event is voluntary, and you understand the nature of the Event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that you solely assume the risks associated with attending and participating in the Event.
Release of Claims
By participating in this ACCA event, you shall indemnify, defend, protect, hold harmless, and release ACCA, its officers, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims, injuries, illness, loss, proceedings, damages, causes of action, liability, costs, or expense (including attorneys’ fees and witness costs) arising from or in connection with, or caused by any act, omission, or negligence of ACCA or its agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, or invitees in relation to this event. This indemnification obligation shall not be limited in any way by any limitation on the amount or type of damages or compensation payable to or for the indemnifying party under workers compensation acts, disability benefit acts, or other employee benefit.
Force Majeure
We and our affiliates will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, labor disputes or other industrial disturbances, electrical or power outages, utilities or other telecommunication failures, earthquake, storms, or other elements of nature (eg. Pandemic), blockages, embargoes, riots, acts or orders of government, acts of terrorism, or war.
Cancellation
These terms and conditions govern cancellation for any ACCA Event.
- Cancellations after the deadline are not eligible for a refund. The refund deadline is included in the event confirmation message.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing to events@acca.org.
- A refund less a 15% administration fee may be made for any cancellation made prior to the cancellation date.
- Refunds are processed within 30 business days AFTER the event concludes.
- If ACCA is forced to cancel an event, all paid registrants may be offered a full refund or to extend the registration to a future ACCA event.
- These Attendee Refund Policy Requirements are not intended to be and do not constitute an offer to insure the performance of or to guarantee the performance of any Organizer and are not a guarantee that refunds will be issued in any given situation.
