Committee Purpose

The Technical Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining ACCA’s technical materials for our members. They will create new standards as needed and ensure that any ANSI-certified products remain compliant with certification requirements. Additionally, the committee will produce whitepapers to address questions from members and industry partners, providing valuable support and insights.

Committee Participation Commitment

  • Committee members are expected to attend 50% or more of the scheduled meetings including: 
    • Six (6) monthly 1-hour virtual meetings
    • One (1) in-person meeting at annual conference
    • Occasional ad-hoc meetings
  • Committee members are expected to participate in the ACCA Technical Committee Forum and respond to communications promptly.
  • Committee members can expect some coordination/contact outside of meetings. 
  • Committee members are expected to attend the ACCA annual conference and other ACCA events.
  • Committee members are expected to complete a Conflict of Interest and Disclosure of Interest form upon appointment and annually thereafter.
  • Committee members are expected to sign an annual Anti-trust policy agreement.
  • Committee members will annually grant prior approval for their company to ACCA-PAC.
  • Committee members will act as advocates for ACCA events, promoting attendance to their peer networks and other prominent member parties. 
  • Committee members will assist ACCA staff in strategically developing new and improving existing ACCA member benefits and programs with the goal of making ACCA the strong and valuable leader in the industry to members and prospective members.

Eligibility

  • The ACCA Technical Committee is comprised of up to fifteen (15) individuals

    1. The Technical Committee Vice Chair (Contractors Only)

    1. Up to eight (8) Contractor Members 

    1. Up to two (2) ACCA Past Chairs

    1. Up to two (2) ACCA Strategic Partners

  • Committee members serve a one-year term, renewable for up to three years.
  • Participants must be employed by an ACCA member company in good standing. 
  • To ensure broad member representation, no more than one individual from the same company may serve on the same committee at any given time.
