Committee Purpose

The Member Experience Committee is dedicated to enhancing the member experience by delivering high-quality ACCA products and services. Their mission is to create exceptional value for our members by collaborating with other committees to develop innovative resources and materials, repurpose existing content, and ensure that all benefits are accessible and impactful. They are committed to continuously improving the value we offer to both our industry and our membership.

Committee Participation Commitment

  • Committee members are expected to attend 50% or more of the scheduled meetings including: 
    • Eleven (11) monthly 1-hour virtual meetings. 
    • One (1) in-person meeting at annual conference. 
    • Occasional ad-hoc meetings. 
  • Committee members are expected to participate in the ACCA Member Experience Committee Forum and respond to communications promptly. 
  • Committee members can expect some coordination/contact outside of meetings. 
  • Committee members should attend the annual conference and other planned ACCA events. 
  • Committee members are expected to complete a Conflict of Interest and Disclosure of Interest Form upon appointment and annually thereafter. 
  • Committee members are expected to participate in an Anti-trust policy training and sign an agreement annually. 
  • Committee members will annually grant prior approval for their company to ACCA-PAC. 
  • Committee members will provide ACCA staff with vital expert feedback, guidance, and support in developing and advancing products and services. 
  • Committee members will act as advocates for ACCA, promoting event attendance and membership to their peer networks, colleagues, and other relevant parties. 
  • Committee members will assist ACCA staff in strategically developing new and improving existing ACCA member benefits and programs with the goal of making ACCA the strong and valuable leader in the industry to members and prospective members. 
  • Committee members will annually grant prior approval for their company to ACCA-PAC.
  • Committee members will provide ACCA staff with vital expert feedback, guidance, and support in developing and advancing products and services.

Eligibility

  • The ACCA Member Experience Committee is comprised of up to fifteen (15) individuals:
    • The ACCA Sr. Vice Chair
    • The Member Experience Committee Chair (Contractors Only)
    • The Member Experience Committee Vice Chair (Contractors Only)
    • Up to eight (8) Contractor Members
    • Up to two (2) ACCA Past Chairs
    • Up to two (2) ACCA Strategic Partners
  • Committee members serve a one-year term, renewable for up to three years.
  • Participants must be employed by an ACCA member company in good standing. 
  • To ensure broad member representation, no more than one individual from the same company may serve on the same committee at any given time.
