Public Review of Additional Modifications to Proposed ACCA Manual S

(Residential Equipment Selection)

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will publish additional proposed revisions to ANSI/ACCA Manual S - 2014, Residential Equipment Selection, for public review. This public review only involves the modifications made based on comments received on the first ANSI public review draft dated November 25, 2022. The 45-day ANSI public review period will begin on Friday, July 21, 2023, and continue through September 4, 2023. The Manual S standard provides procedures for selecting and sizing residential heating, cooling, dehumidification, and humidification equipment. The "Normative" Sections of the standard provide the equipment selection and equipment sizing criteria necessary to implement the standard's requirements.
