His final stop in the HVACR industry was with Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing, one of the largest and most profitable HVACR businesses in North America and a star MAP client. As a member of Goettlís leadership team, Rick created an in-house training program (the Goettl Academy) focusing on both technician training as well as management and leadership development for Goettlís 12 locations. Goettl earned MAPís prestigious Presidentís Award 7 years in a row.

Rick is a voracious reader and life-long learner. He earned a Bachelors in English from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL and a Masters in Counseling & Development from Auburn University.

As an Associate Director of Partner Enablement at Johnson Controls, she leads a team of facilitators and instructional designers who are responsible for designing and instructing technical and sales training programs. Christyn believes mentorship is paramount to career development – especially for women. It’s a resource she credits in advancing her own career. Christyn notes, “As a mother of three, I did not believe I could have a fulfilling career. It was my long-term mentor who showed me that being a mom did not make me less of an employee but rather, it provided me with experiences I could use within my work situations.” Paying this advice forward, Christyn is a member of the Johnson Controls Ducted Systems Mentorship Program Committee and joined both Women in HVACR and the Johnson Controls Women’s Global Network.
