Skip Snyder Humanitarian Award

The Skip Snyder Humanitarian Award was established by ACCA in memory of Skip Snyder, a past national chairman of ACCA and NATE, who passed away in the Fall of 2013. Skip was an iconic figure in the HVACR industry, but through his many benevolent efforts and actions, he left his footprints everywhere – especially at ACCA.

The Skip Snyder Award recognizes an ACCA member who has made extraordinary contributions to the betterment of society and community. It is a tribute that defines Skip’s remarkable character and his philosophy of life – helping, caring, and sharing with others.

“Skip Snyder was not only an iconic leader and pillar in the HVAC industry, he was also a pillar in his community. He was passionate about helping others, supporting his community, and striving to make our society better for everyone. By presenting this award in his honor, ACCA recognizes an outstanding contractor who exemplifies what Skip believed being an ACCA member is about – service, community, and the betterment of society.” - Barton James, ACCA President & CEO.
