Since starting at ACCA about two years ago, I have learned a lot about the technical side of the HVAC industry and am learning more and more about the business side of operating a contracting company. One of the things that I hear professional contractors preach is the need for maintenance agreements.

Contractors know that service maintenance agreements mean high customer retention rates and less seasonality. It also means more profit for your business! Not only are they good for your business, they’re also good for your customers heating and air conditioning systems. Yearly maintenance is necessary for HVAC systems, and contractors always recommend them to their customers.

Just like routine maintenance is necessary for an HVAC system to operate as promised, men should be having their “systems” checked regularly to ensure their bodies are functioning properly.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, and ACCA has an important message for the men in the HVAC contracting industry, “Get ‘Em Checked.” Take a moment to read this important message about testicular cancer from ACCA’s partners at the Men’s Health Network: www.talkingaboutmenshealth.com/check-em-lads-why-young-men-should-care-about-testicular-cancer/

Talking about men’s health is rarely easy for guys, but we all know how important it is to maintain a healthy mind and body. ACCA partnered with the Men’s Health Network to ensure ACCA Members have access to health and wellness education and free health events at the workplace. ACCA Members can have the Men’s Health Network, FREE OF CHARGE, come into their facilities do non-invasive screenings for numerous conditions primarily impact men.

Please take moment to reach out to your healthcare provider to schedule your body’s maintenance agreement. Or, reach out to me to learn more about the Men’s Health Network and what they can do for your business and your employees.
