Designing for Quality Installation

tech3-300x187The HVAC Quality Installation (QI) standard requires an initial system design based on correct procedures developed by ACCA. Understanding proper load calculation and duct design, and knowing how to use software the right way, is key to ensuring a quality system installation.

Online Certificate Program

elearningphoto-300x187Complete a three-part online class, pass the exam and earn a 5-year certificate proving your understanding of the residential HVAC design process. Learn at your own pace, on your own time — from any desktop computer.

In-Person Certificate Program

inclass-300x187If you prefer classroom learning, you can choose to participate in a 3-day class sponsored by ACCA to receive your 5-year certificate in residential HVAC design. Classes are held at ACCA headquarters in Virginia.

Get Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

Get CEUs towards recertification for NATE and/or BPI!

Online program: Successfully complete the online program and receive 20 credits toward NATE recertification, or 12.5 credits toward BPI recertification. You must include your BPI and/or NATE identification numbers in the appropriate fields when purchasing the class.

In-person program: Successfully complete the in-person class and receive 20 credits toward NATE recertification, or 12.5 credits toward BPI recertification. You must bring your BPI and/or NATE identification numbers with you to the class.

We frequently work with distributors, state agencies, utlilities and others to host private versions of our ACCA Residential Design Certificate In-Person program.
