As anyone in the construction industry knows, the alleged product defect is often not the issue; claims and litigation typically arise because of issues with installation, testing, misinterpreted or intentionally distorted terms of sale, warranties, quotes, instructions and contacts.  Every business, especially ones that work in and around construction, should be on guard to develop and constantly make sure they have the best "Product Package" available.  In this webinar, David Toney of Adams and Reese, will provide practical and legal examples of ways to manage or eliminate exposure to claims and legal disputes.  He helps businesses nationwide make effective and informed decisions while they deal with the stress, expense and aggravation of claims and litigation.  This discussion will touch on ways to better manage risk and avoid it altogether through "Best Practices" related to product literature including:

1. Sales materials and web sites
2. Warranties
3. Installation and maintenance instructions
4. Contracts
5. Quotes and customer field service

About the Presenter: David Toney is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group for Adams and Reese’s Houston office.
